A Hungarian expedition, consisting of Laszlo Szasz, Bence Kerekes, Marton Nagy, and Viktor Agoston, made the first ascent of Bondit Peak in pure alpine style via the NE Ridge (1500m, 80°, WI 4) in August 2022.The expedition was part of the Nangma and Bondit Expedition 2022 of the Hungarian National Alpine Team, aiming for first ascents in the Hushe and Nangma Valleys.
